Fowler Windmill - Schroeppel, NY

A new wind tower has been installed at the home of Joseph Fowler of Schroeppel, NY. Alternative Power Solutions installed a Bergey Excel-S 10kW Turbine on a 140ft Guyed Lattice Tower that will produce approximately 10,000 kWh/year. The financial incentives for the project (which totaled approximately $65,000) included a NYSERDA grant of nearly $29,000 and a 30% federal tax credit.
