Alternative Power Solutions has helped another customer harness the power of the wind. Peter Guido of New Haven, NY has installed a Bergey Excel-S 10kW wind turbine atop a 140ft Guyed Lattice Tower. The wind turbine is expected to produce approximately 10,000 kWh/year. With a total project cost of approximately $65,000 - Mr. Guido was able to cover more than half of the cost with a NYSERDA grant of over $28,000 and federal tax credits worth 30%.
